Mufti Naeem, Allama Talib Jauhri & Former Emir of JI Syed Munawar Hasan died because of COVID-19 said CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah, later made amendments in his statement.

Murad Ali Shah, CM Sindh while addressing in Provincial Assembly claimed that Mufti Naeem, Allama Talib Jauhri, and Former Emir JI Syed Munawar Hasan died because of COVID-19 disease. He further said that the test report of the family of Mufti Naeem was found positive. It is the virus that has taken to date nearly 3,900 lives across Pakistan with 1 lac 90 thousand total number of cases.

Clarification After Addressing in Provincial Assembly

After addressing the provincial assembly, CM of Sindh Murad Ali Shah admitted that “He mistakenly added the name of Syed Munawar Hasan (Ex Emir of JI) in the list of deceased Islamic scholars, who died today after Friday prayer during treatment.

According to reports, on Friday 26th of June 2020, former Emir of JI died after fighting from his life in hospital. Till now there haven’t been any statement issues from his party that he died because of coronavirus.

Last Sunday, renowned Shi’a scholar and cleric Talib Jauhri died at the hospital, he was 80 years old. The people who represent his community didn’t release any statement like he was too a victim of COVID-19 disease.

The day before the death of Allama Talib Jauhri, Jamia Binoria International Chancellor Mufti Muhammad Naeem breathed last on his bed, during treatment at the local hospital. There wasn’t any statement released by the left-behinds of Mufti Naeem that he died because of Corona and no news about the cause of his death was announced on media.
